Alexander Vance was always aloof and rarely close to anyone.

The person speaking with him now was a childhood friend, so he took the question very seriously.

"Of course I know!" Penelope looked innocent.

Ethan sneered, "How could she do this to Third Uncle?"

She stared blankly at Ethan, her mind full of questions.

Why would it be wrong toward Third Uncle?

Did it mean she should have sought Third Uncle's permission before dating someone?

Thinking this, Penelope quickly nodded, "Right, she's so wrong to Third Uncle!"

Ethan exchanged looks with his other brothers.

Then he turned to Marcus Valentine, "Big Brother, you handle the guests here. We'll go entertain inside. Many people have already arrived."

Marcus didn't overthink it and simply nodded, "Go ahead."

This relaxed the six brothers, and they walked straight into the banquet hall.

Ethan first looked in the direction of Evelyn Ross and Mina Sherwood.

Evelyn even wore a black evening gown and stood quietly in a corner.

Charles suddenly said, "I have an immature idea!"

Charles raised an eyebrow, "What if I recognize her as my adopted younger sister? Then Third Uncle can't introduce her as his wife, right?"

Ethan's eyes lit up, "Brilliant! Why didn't I think of that!"

"This family reunion gala would have a proper purpose then!"

"But would she agree to be your adopted sister?"

Charles said immediately, "She'll definitely agree. Being the Valentine family's adopted daughter comes with many benefits!"

He then ran over to Evelyn.

Evelyn was holding a plate, lingering at the buffet area.
